The Men in My Life

Aren't they just so handsome and dreamy?

:)

Sawyer and his "show"

During our long 4 day weekend, I was trying to find something to do with Sawyer that he would enjoy. There's only so many times a mommy can play on the playmat, bounce in the exersaucer, and make funny faces without feeling redundant. A friend has passed down her Baby Einstein videos, so Sawyer and I sat and watched both of them. He was mildly interested in both, but on one, it showed an electric train. Sawyer was mesmerized and squealing in delight... Grandpa Brinegar has his electric trains from when he was little, and he's going to get them out for Bubby to watch (mind you, I've been asking him to do that every Christmas since I was in middle school... now he's finally getting around to it). Since we don't have a tv (just a small one in our bedroom), we used our laptop. He looks very studious! :)

Sawyer's Winter Hat

So here is Sawyer's new winter hat...
When he wears it, sometimes we literally have to look away. He's so cute it hurts. :)

Nevermind the fact that he's sitting in a basket... it was convenient. :)

Thanksgiving :)

On Thanksgiving, we traveled to Champaign to have Thanksgiving with the Brinegar family. When we tried to put on Sawyer's special Thanksgiving onesie, he barely fit. We had to stretch the outfit to be able to button it. It's a 6 month size. Our baby is such a big boy!

All bundled up and on his way to Great Grandma B.'s!

Uncle Aaron and Sawyer are about to fall asleep... :)

Halloween and Randomness

On Halloween, I had a dentist's appointment, so Daniel got Sawyer ready in his costume. After a little  bit of handing out candy to the kids in town (and EVERY single one of them said thank-you, even a little boy who was deaf signed thank-you to us... big difference from last year), we went trick-or-treating at Great Grandma's house and my Dad's house (my mom was out of town on a business meeting).

Gigi gave Sawyer 2 pacifiers, and Grandpa let him taste a sucker, which he very much did not enjoy.

Since then, we've been super busy. Daniel and I are taking a financial class on Monday nights to better learn how to handle our finances, we lead the youth group at our church, I tutor, he plays in the worship band, etc. We're trying to cut back on activities so that we can spend more time together as a family...

Bubby has begun to be on the move... he scoots places now. Above is when he scooted out of the Boppy when we weren't looking...

Gangsta in his exersaucer...

Daniel HATES this hat... Compliments of Uncle Aaron B. ;)

Sawyer moves his feet when he eats, kind of in a peddling motion. It's so cute.

Illini hat courtesy of Uncle Aaron B.

We're still working on figuring out the camera... obviously mr. red eyes.

We're starting to need bibs now because of all of his drooling.

Baby feet make me smile even in the middle of the night.

Cute bubby.

Bathtime!

Maggie and Sawyer enjoying the sunbeams.

Starting him early!

Playtime... look at those leg rolls!

He loves his swing!

I'm in love with those chubby cheeks!
