Tour de South

For the past few years, every time we have gone back to visit Daniel's family, we have visited as many of them as humanly possible. And there are a lot of them, and they are all spread out. Consequently, my sister and her family live in the same area as Daniel's immediate family lives, AND we went to college there. There are always way too many friends and family to possibly spend enough time with, and we end up spreading ourselves very thin. The past two trips we've put over 3,000 miles on the car each trip, and that's getting to be pretty hard on our car. Throw in an almost-two-year old who happens to be getting his two-year-old molars? Yeah. This may have been our last tour for awhile. BUT we did get to see 48.5 of our favorite friends and family (Baby Addison is still cooking for a couple months!)

We started out the trip with Greenville, where we watched a very cute, but very LONG set of dance recital numbers. Of course, the only one we cared about was Kate, and she was OBVIOUSLY the best one of the whole three hours.
Not even there for a day and he's already in Tarheels gear.

Cute face

My baby boys!

Dance recital excitement... kind of.

Princess and Baby Sawyer

I love this picture of them!

Three friends we cannot live without!
Then, we headed another three hours away to where Daniel's grandparents have a farm in North Carolina. We spent a couple days there, going to see multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, second cousins, etc.

Daniel made fun of the way I travel.

Famous homemade biscuits and honey from the bees at the farm.

This is how Sawyer spent time in the ocean- letting it wash over him :)

And then our car blew up...
Goodbye North/South Carolina!

Sorry for the uninventive captions/writing- Sawyer just went down for a nap, and I'm craving one myself! ;) Trying to get this done quickly so I can SLEEP!
